Latest Issues In Digital Marketing – MOOC ‘live’ Discussion
Lisa Harris & Tom Chapman (University of Southampton) the Lead Educators of the Digital Marketing MOOC are leading a ‘live’ panel discussion relating to Digital Marketing
Joining them (technology allowing) will be:
Paul Harrigan, University of Western Australia; Roisin McCarthy, Manager at Datatech Analytics; Simon Perry, OnTheWight & Russell Pert – Head of Digital – Southern Europe, Barclaycard.
The subtitles are hilarious! They don’t actually reflect what is being said eg ‘cheap and cheerful’ interprets as ‘cheap digital’! And a lot more, just read ‘idiot yeah okay dokay’! Facebook =’that book ages’!
Thank you…how can we join live stream.
I think it was a great idea but you need to adjust the audio other than that, a great and useful discussion. thanks
Very good
Afraid the typing or crackling in background is very distracting. Great content however.
The audio is so bad it makes it hard to understand what Lisa and Tom are saying. All the speakers are much more audible. You need to invest in a better microphone, I imagine you are using the built mic from the PC/Mac which is of a poor quality. I did manage to watch the entire video and found it to be very interesting.
The background typing is awful. Very difficult to follow the conversation due to the nose…
The audio is terrible, many analytic tools Roisin mentioned, couldn’t hear a word…
Interesting content but the sound quality is terrible. What is that cracking and typing sound at the background.
Great discussion! The background was a bit annoying, though.
Great content despite the dodgy audio
Great discussion and for someone just starting out in the marketing and social media world, I found this really insightful, interesting and educational. Thanks.
MOOC
muːk/
noun
a course of study made available over the Internet without charge to a very large number of people.
“anyone who decides to take a MOOC simply logs on to the website and signs up”
Yes, the audio is terrible!, they will have to improve their mics and prevent someone from writing near them, BUT I LEAVE YOU A TIP … use the subtitles, they are perfect, even if you are distracted by the noise you can turn off the audio. Works for me.
