I combined this type of degree with a business minor and it’s been good to me so far. Tons of internship opportunities with really cool start-ups. You won’t be working at places like KPMG, Goldman Sachs, or any big business monsters, but many companies are looking into people with creativity+analytics. Just my two cents

hey what about digital marketing?
My daughter is already in school majoring in computer science. She declared a minor in digital communications. She’s almost finished with college (next year), and will start her youtube channel this summer. Is she on the right path? BTW…”older people”. (salty!!!)
Is it possible to get a job in the film or animation industry with a Digital Media degree? I’m a little worried because most of my required classes are coding based and I truly HATE coding with the grieving passion. My adviser expects me to get a programming/coding based job, but that’s not what I had in mind. All I want is a job editing professional videos OR making animations (cartoons). So tell me, did I pick the wrong major?
you said something like, most employees work and then jump ship to get a higher paying gig bc companies have stopped giving raises. I’d love to hear more about that.
